1) Fall Out Boy’s appearance on The Voice

Erika and I were raving about this a week ago when Pete Wentz announced it on his Instagram so after the live show, I looked immediately for a link and HOLYYYY SHIIIIT they were teaming with Michelle Chamuel of #TeamUsher. Managed to give the link to Erika and we cried and we were just all stoked for August to see them live in Manila. It’s like we were in our college years again. PATRICK STUMP’s voice is just aaaahh.

2) MAN OF STEEL!! You k’now I’m a sucker for action and superhero movies (feeling geek), that’s why the moment they released the date of the new Superman movie, we got our tix booked. Too cool that Manila had it first

jojoloco’s verdict (but hey this is just me, see also for yourself!)

• Man of steel was just fine. We had tears and way better than Superman returns but still so-so. #notabiasedmarvelfanswear
• Lame in other words.
• not your typical superhero movie. It’s more of drama than action.
• Or Batman and other superhero movies were just great and Man Of Steel didn’t manage to keep up
• As per Erika- Family centric and dramatic that it’s so boring——- HAHAHA WTF but true!
• As per Erika another “HAHAHAHA but TRUE”—- 2 hours - explaining who he is 45 minutes - trying to save Lois Lane instead of mankind
• It’s like they’re introducing Mr Clark Kent
• I had tears but again this is a superhero movie not drama, cmoooon. More of OOOMPH, please.
• Buti na lang may part 2.
• And lastly, My standards were too high because of TDKR.

WORK! :) i’m not rushing and bragging but i think i’m getting there. oh please universe, help me :) and love life? what love life haha! secret muna chos!

It’s 11th of May, 2013 meaning we’re halfway through the summer season!

And as for me, end of summer = end of summer fling. CHOS! but seriously, I will have to be serious at my craft (echoserang craft! haha), passion and work this coming months. No play, just work.

Well because, things aren’t clear for me and for him as well.  We click together because we like the same stuff, I’d like to believe too that I am his only friend here. ( He got friends….living in USA, becaus’e he LA based, meaning aalis din sya anytime soon) and both of us walked the same path way back in which we both found our turning point… (deep but true, taray! haha). That said, we just have to stay this way. Pure fun lang, no other emotions involved.

But the past week, we decided to go out. Things changed. Perceptions changed. We’ve been going out since August, and I honestly felt different. In good way :)  To be honest, muntikan na nung December, buti na lang hindi. Haha! Glad that I released my attention somewhere that time. It didn’t hurt that much.:) But now, everything is just so easy. :)

It’s a good thing that you have someone who can act as your brotha, friend, super friend, occasional boyfriend, occasional enemy but most of all someone who understands you more than you understand yourself :)

And last night, I just got a HECK YEAH! from him! He definitely understands what I’m going thru and gladly I made it. :)

• Fast and Furious 6 (May 16) ——- I’ve been a fan of this franchise ever since. I love sexy cars. I love Paul Walker as well!!!! And also, to add excitement—- Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, The Rock and Paul Walker will be here next week in Manila for FF6 red carpet premiere at Newport!
• Star Trek Into The Darkness (May 24) - Capt James T. Kirk. Nuff said
• Hangover 3 (May 29)  - Just. Because. :)
• After Earth- May 31.

• Dad’s 55th tomorrow!!! May the 4th be with you. Out Of  Town daw ulit.

I remember last year’s May was also this colorful. Lady Gaga, Lifehouse, Leighton Meester, Ian Somerhalder, my La Union trips. What’s up with your May? :)

Pepper Potts fighting Guy Pearce, over 42 Iron Suits, The Iron Patriot and Iron Man saving 13 people falling down from the plane. EXACTLY. I’m still not over IRON MAN 3. Best installation so far.

(FEET OFF THE CHAIR rule because we booked LAST FULL SHOW! Second time of watching Iron Man 3 with everyone (Mark, Sam, Janna, ate Redg, Kuya Ten and Lola)

That said, I downloaded the Heroes Fall, soundtrack album of it and listened to each songs while on my way to work. #EARPHONESMYBESTFRUN

Glad to see that some of my favorite bands such as Imagine Dragons, Neon Trees (which is included in Wanderland line up), Walk The Moon and Passion Pit are part of this.

My sister said that the album is composed of rock, metal songs but sung by indie bands. Srsly, I  don’t care about the genre. I care about how it sounds and it’s reconnection in some of the  scenes

Like any decent movie soundtrack or ‘Music From and Inspired By…’ as they’re called nowadays, the songs included reflect the movie’s themes either in lyrics, titl, etc. And I love it! 

Some of my favorites are: 

Ready, Aim, Fire by Imagine Dragons: an evocative, gut-punch anthem for the movie’s story. Also strongest track by far. I heard this one on the credits while waiting for that scene of Dr. Bruce Banner and Tony talking. Hehe.

Some Kind of Joke by AWOLNATION: Another song with lyrics with reference to the movie, set to a throwback 80s style of  power riffs.

Some Kind of Monster by Neon Trees: a lot like a Killers or Kings of Leon B side. This one came off pretty good.

Whenever I’m outside the country, I always managed to drop by in H&M, F21 and American Apparel. These stores are my kind of heaven. Aside from the fact thaat they have the most stylish clothes (define stylish: sometimes, girly, sometimes rocker but always class), they are also affordable (define affordable: buying bulk of clothes and shoes in less than 80$) and they always have my size. (always medium - US size, yun pala yun :p hehe)

This season of music fest, aztec, lepard prints, spring/ summer I am proud to present to you: Beyonce for H&M and Sky Ferreira (my homegirrrrl) for Forever 21!

For now, I am so happy that a legit Forever 21 store is just a 20minute drive away from my home. Hahahaha, my sisters always make sure to buy shoesies or clothes every month but my other sister is worse (every 2 weeks ang shopping haha!) while H&M, kelangan pa pumunta ng HongKong. HAAAAAY. But there are rumors that SM is also bringing it here. PLEASE?

While American Apparel…………. (please din, for now… drooling over the leather skirts and printed button-ons) YAY

maybe this month, I’ll do my own closet raid, will videoblog. Yes, mojos for blogging and video blogging is back. :) :*

Yes, you heard it. Driving is very easy but parking your car is a different story.

It  is a struggle for a 5” woman like me to park a Montero between a Camry (neightor 1’s) and car 2. ( hahaha idk neighbor 2’s car)

Speaking of which, I’ll / we’ll be getting a new toy again! YES!!!

Also, I can’t wait to get back my license which is still on hold. :(

11 months ago: I was driving at Quirino highway (Nova Bayan) then Mr. Traffic Enforcer gave me a sign to pullover….guess what, beating the red light. HAAAAY. 

anyway, positivity…. I have my mom to back me up anddddd Dakilang Driver is back again. ;* I know under the table is a bad thing, butttt—-
